Global Warming and Sunspots
Now that the country is blanketed in snow and just about everything has come to a standstill I see that it has brought out the Eco-numptys..those who claim that all the bad weather we are having is the fault of mankind and the burning of fosil fuels.
The claims coming from governments about global warming are absolute and utter rubbish…ok the human race has polluted the planet…I’m not contesting that, but I am saying that most claims are made up, invented to justify increasing taxes, and backed by scientists so that they will gain more funding to study.
Governments worldwide are worried by rising tides and the effects they will have on low lying coastal areas and according to them its all our fault, if we didn’t burn fosil fuels we wouldn’t have global warming…. what utter claptrap… one volcanic eruption can put 5000 times more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than the human race does in one year.
One big volcanic eruption can cause the planet to go into ice age status by the amount of carbon and other gasses that it puts into the upper atmosphere…so what little amount that the human race puts in is quite minimal, and so what do we blame when we get bad weather?… its got to be climate change caused by human pollution…why?… because thats the way governments can get more tax out of us… it has to be paid for… not by the companies who benifit most but by the poor sods who belive what governments tell them.
Ok some say scientific data proves they are right… well it would, data has been manipulated and interpreted in a way that the result shows that they are correct…because they [government scientists] are told beforehand that they must compile a report that supports the claim… if they had been asked to produce a report disproving climate change, they would have, they will continue bowing down to governments because it enhances there chances of more funding more support.
As a amateur radio enthusiast who holds a uk novice license I’m obviously interested in the climate and weather change, always looking out for changes in the propogation of signals and the weather plays a big part in that.
If the weather is that cold or hot it could and sometimes does produce some good propogation called Tropospheric ducting this effects the upper radio frequency bands of VHF and UHF, and there is some belief that this is sometimes noticed on some HF bands.
Now lets take a look further at climate change and radio… or more to the point sunspot activity, since records began some several hundred years ago scientists are fully aware that each time we get a sunspot minima it is followed by colder than normal winters that have in the past led to what are called small or mini ice ages because of prolonged winters with extremly cold temperatures, they are also aware of the effects of volcanic eruptions on the climate that can and has seen temperature drops globaly to the point that it causes major changes to the weather.
This winter has seen the largest downfall of snow country wide since 1980 it also happens to be one of the lowest recorded sunspot activities for several hundred years and although it is predicted to rise sharply over the next 12 months, there is no certainty or data to support this theory…. in other words it could go on for as long as the Maunder minimum or even longer… nobody knows.
There is also evidence that proves to some extent that sunspot minimas are a cause of global depresions in that each time we have a minima, we also have financial losses and depresions… some minimas are not as bad as others so these depresions are not as noticable as other bigger more damaging depresions… like the one that we see at present time.
So all this bumph you see spouted in the media worldwide is just manufactured poppycock, invented to try to get more and more taxes out of us for something we have no control over whatsoever, and scientists do what they do best, interpret the information they have to gain as much as they can from those taxes, and if that means deliberate manipulation of data to gain that incom and support they will.
With all that is presently happening in the world today and the unwillingness of some countries to join in the debate of “climate change” because they are getting nothing out of it speaks for itself, theres too much money at stake with oil sales, and not enough money on the table to warrant involvment.
With 3 months to go till the end of this winter who knows whats coming next, will we get even more snow? will we have a good summer or a wet one leading to floods and more misery? will next winter be mild or will we still have the same problems as this year… I suppose seing the scientists have no idea we will have to wait and see… but dont be surprised if it all happens again next winter after all its quite a natural occurance.

Has anyone noticed over the last couple of years or so, that
the term “global warming” has been subtly changed to “climate
change”?
If you ask the man in the street if he thinks that global
warming is a myth, at least as described by government, almost
half would describe themselves as sceptical, and a large
chunk of those would describe themselves as “very sceptical”.
So, the powers that be decided to stop concentrating on the
term “global warming” and instead decided to offer “climate
change” instead.
You can’t go wrong with that, because either way it has to
be right…..we will get hotter, or we will get colder.
How in all honesty can mankind have the gall and audacity to
say that it could actually LIMIT future temperature increases
to between 1.5C & 2.0C?
Mankind’s physical control of the weather is a whole different
topic, however from a purely natural perspective, we as humans
are not able to make much difference at all.
Imagine if you will, the possibility that the huge super-volcano
or caldera, situated under Yellowstone Park in the United States
were to erupt with its full force.
That is not as unlikely as people would wish, because the last
super-eruption was 600.000 years ago, and we are long overdue
for the next one.
My point is, that IF the caldera were to blow that would be a
world changing event which would plunge the earth into an ice-age
that could last for hundreds of years.
what people are going by are recorded temperatures since “records
began” but in geological terms that is not nearly long enough.
The earth has been through numerous weather events before, and
although it is uncomfortable to confront the reality of such
events, the earth survived both heating AND cooling.
My personal view is that “global warming” as promulgated by
governments is a scam to get us to part with more cash in the
form of so-called “green” taxes, because unless EVERY country
in the world (both developed & developing) were to reduce their
carbon emissions significantly there would be no appreciable
difference….and anyway, what will be, will be.
Climate change is cyclical. It has happened before and it WILL
happen again, no matter what humans do.

We’ve had many periods in the history of this planet that have
been life-changing.
Although not admitted by many scientists because it would damage
their funding, we are in fact coming to the end of a “warm”
period……….the earth incidentally has been warmer than we
are now…..and we are entering a “cool” period, which it is
entirely possible, could lead to another ice-age.
Look outside this January day, and ask yourself if “global
warming” is a myth, should we not start to imagine the possibility
that just maybe, all the idiot politicians and scientists who spout
what they are told to say (because please remember that statistics
can be made to say anything) are just plain WRONG, and that the
winter wonderland we see outside is going to be the way of things
in the future, because at the end of the day it is all cyclical….
its happened before and it’ll happen again.
